I feel like I left some loose ends flapping around with my last post. Honestly, I got a bit melodramatic about Noah and all of the infatuation energy. Over the past few weeks that has mellowed and being “just friends” has been quite pleasant. He is a sweetheart and we’re writing novels together for NaNoWriMo, another good friend is always a welcome addition to my life and I still get to look at his 1000 watt smile.

This weekend, Jay and I are going to New York and I’m insanely excited about it. We’ll be catching a few CMJ shows and meeting up with some old friends of mine and also a few other bloggers. I’m quite excited. I’ve talked to a few of you about meeting up at some point and I think it would be fun to get together with whoever can make it. Bloggers, podcasters, readers, other rapscallions. I’m envisioning this Friday around 6ish somewhere in the East Village. I’m pulling that time and setting out of my ass because it pleases me but I’m open to negotiation. I won’t be posting any location info on the blog because that just seems like a bad idea so the only way to get in on this is an email to me in the next few days.
